Cyber/Computer network analysts (CNAs) work with a team on the frontlines of defense against cyber adversaries, with tasks that may include:
identifying cyber threats and anomalies by conducting research and analysis on data collected from numerous sources;
identifying vulnerabilities and their impact to customers; and
building and integrating defense response capabilities against these threats.
CNAs are also required to have technical expertise and a driving desire to remain at the forefront of their field. CNAs often have experience or education in:
Computer engineering
Computer networking and security
Computer science or programming
Cybersecurity
Data science and analysis
Electrical engineering
Information assurance
