A Day in the Life of a Scanner
Information Gathering and Organization: Sloane listens to Kobian* President’s conversations to understand the big picture of Kobian leadership plans and intentions. She summarizes less significant conversations for future reference and updates corporate knowledge bases with biographical facts.
Discovering and Analyzing Key Conversations: Sloane discovers a conversation about Zoolandia's leader visiting Kobia and searches for a specific music to locate Kobian President’s meeting with the leader. She marks bad hits to improve the Machine Learning Sound Event Detection Model and identifies a good hit with the relevant conversation.
Interoffice Communication: Sloane sends off a note to her counterpart in the Zoolandia Leadership Office (ZLO) about the visit and alerts the translator that there is an audio cut they need to work on ASAP. Upon receiving new information from ZLO that is of higher interest to consumers, she pivots her search focus accordingly.
Advanced Searching: Sloane attempts a semantic search using a natural language question to find relevant conversations. She identifies helpful sentences, confirms information through separate searches, and refines her search to focus on conversations with a female speaker.
Delegation and Team Support: Sloane sends relevant conversations to the translator for processing and seeks assistance from a quality controller to scan more conversations before leaving for the day.
